Heath, William, 1764-1840

Capt. William Heath was born in 1764 in Hempstead, N.H., and died in 1840 in Mt. Desert, Maine. He married Hannah Allen (1768-1853) and had two sons and five daughters. He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War and won considerable distinction for his bravery. He was honorably discharged June 6, 1783.
